The Sand and Surf Soccer Club Store is run by Sand and Surf's very own coach, Eddie Lopes. Coach Eddie has been providing the club's fan gear and camp/clinic wear since 2022 and is now also providing the player gear/uniform kits for the end of the 2023 season and onward.
Coach Eddie is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil; as a youth player in Brazil, Eddie played for both Corinthians S.C and S.E Palmeiras’ prestigious academies. Eddie then attended the University of Rio Grande in Ohio, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Exercise Science. After graduation, Eddie played professional soccer as an attacking midfielder in Japan for Thespakusatsu in the 2013 and 2014 J-league seasons.
Coach Eddie lives in the South Bay with his wife and daughter, Gabriela who you'll see running around the fields and kicking around a ball whenever she has the chance.
